More useful information for Owners

This website is such a help for owners to be able to to do the research on their own, instead of relying on the interpretation, some would say spin, put forth by others.
I have a question, though, and hope someone out there can answer it. According to the timeshare documents on the archive website, hotel rooms can co-exist along with timeshare units within the same complex. The old Royal Oasis is an example of this.
Can privately owned apartments/condos that are rented independently, co-exist within a timeshare complex? In otherwords, can the Investment Board license a complex to be both a condominium as well as timeshare complex? If so, is there a prescribed ratio of condo to timeshare, or limitation placed on how many privately owned condominiums are allowed?
