More newspaper print today!

Yes, again! Today's Freeport News headlines the demonstration held outside the Bahamas Immigration offices yesterday. I understand that all the newspaper reports are already published on the 'archive' website www.coral.beach.hotel.com.

Unfortunately I cannot sort out how to help the Owner who would like to be linked to ZNS to watch yesterday evenings TV news programme - far too technical for me I'm afraid.

Noting the concerns expressed by an Owner who says that she has been approached for her proxy, I will add to those concerns I'm sure when I raise the question of how many Owners responded to the request by the Board in mid-year for full information about their Deeds of Title and the attorney's who had dealt with their purchases. This I find very odd as properly transferred ownership of property is a matter of public record and held at the Registrar General's Office.

I feel I must respond to the Toronto dig - and repeat today's comment from another Owner who said that Toronto is a big city. Canada is a huge country and Canadians from every Province have brought much benefit to the Coral Beach community over many years, and long may they continue to do so! That said, we're off to the potluck supper - being organised by at least two Canadian Owners eh?

My apologies to those good people who live in or around Toronto. I happen to think Toronto is a great city with wonderful retaurants, theater, shopping and citizens.
The point I was making is that it it obvious Bruno and his contacts are lining up people friendly to their side to purchase hotel studios and apts from Mario. There is a reason for that. In the '60's they used to refer to that as redlining neighborhoods.
Not all new owners are involved in that activity and to those we extend a warm welcome.

Aside from the facts of whether you like Mr Rufa , don't like him, or you don't even know what is going on in and around Coral Beach, the shareholders should have some major concerns. There is entirely too much publicity on the negative following one of our Board members ( the Chairman no less ) If we were a publicly traded company our stock would be plumeting right now ! It is not wise to re-elect a person to a Board position in this light, for that matter, most reputable individuals that care about the facility they represent would resign ! In this light alone some new blood should enter the Board and begin rebuilding our reputation in the community. Please VOTE wisely from the business side of things.

Just to let anon know that I and I expect most Torontonians were not offended by your remark. Personally I thought it was humourous. However, for future reference Mr. Rufa lives in Maple, a bedroom community of Toronto about 24 miles (40 kms)distant.
We are living through sad times, I hope it will all end soon.

No worries about any comment made. I just hate the idea of being guilty by association or in this case by city. These elections have made me even colder than what the temperatures were like last week.

Pat, I like so many others really want to thank you and plan to do so in person for all you have done to keep us informed.
