Notices posted around the lobbies today inform Owners that there will be a Forum tomorrow, Friday, at 4pm in the Conference Room.
And I hear tell that we may have a pot luck supper next week - watch out for confirmation!

Hi Pat:
Could you please keep those owners like myself that are not yet on the island in the loop on the owners forum?
Please let us know what happens?
Everybody please ask lots of questions...
Thank you.
Suggested questions to ask:
Is it correct that you hired a handyman? Isn't that reversing the decision to ourtsource?
The monthly financial reports indicate CB is operating in a deficit at the rate of 20,000 per month, why?
What is the status of the S&P project and G Seven?
When will the outstanding repairs from the hurricanes three years ago be done? Do you have a schedule at least or are they forgotten?
The Treasurers report as has been pointed out by many concerned owners contains almost no financial information why?
Why are there no reserves set up for the pending litigation?
As of today, 27th December 07, the investigation into Bruno Rufa's Immigration status remains ongoing.
He has been overheard telling others that he has 'connections' that give him 'protection' and that his return to the Bahamas was helped by a 'friendly' call to someone in Government.
However, by allowing Bruno Rufa's return for 30 days on a tourist permit after having him deported for working without a permit, the matter has moved into a bigger arena than Coral Beach and it's internal concerns.
The Freeport business community will take notice and CB can expect to come under even closer scrutiny from both businessmen and the Authorities who will be asking how this was allowed to happen.

What clearances do you say are required from Bahamian government authorities are renter owners required to obtain? Which ministries?
I would not want to be Bruno--he will have to contantly look over his shoulder whenever he is on the island. What kind of life is that?
In addition to the questions already posited ( all good ones), B&P should also answer:
1. On what basis is Phil being allowed to run when he has filed bankrutpcy? Have they received a written legal opinion from Ms. Dennison on this? Will they share it with us?
2. What is status of Bruno's deportation? Is CB footing the legal bill on this? If so, on what basis and how much has been spent?
3. Is Jerry Illerbrun capable of fullfilling his duties as a director or is he planning to resign for health reasons after the election so B&P can appoint one of their cronies?
Hello owners:
Since the board of directors stated they would not answer quesitons on the blog, but if one identified themselves they would;
My letter to the Board of Directors dated December 19th, to date has not been answered.
I would be happy to have those questions answered at the forum if someone would like to address them.
Thank you
Steve Toth
LET THE SPIN BEGIN! This election will demonstrate how savvy the owners are in separating fact from fiction, or how flawed the actual election process is.
RE: Clearances from the government
Opinions from three prominent attorneys on Grand Bahama state emphatically that all owners of property have the right to rent their own property. If you choose to rent your property a great deal, then it is a good idea to register and obtain documentaton from the Investment Board. No other documentation is required-or even exists.
The situation between the Board and Ms.VanderWoude is an example of harrassment for harrassment sake. Bruno and Phil get their rocks off by retaliating against people who do not support them. These are the kind of actions perpetrated by very small people. The owners need to know who these people REALLY are before they decide who to elect to the Board. It is also demonstrates why this election is so important for the future of Coral Beach.
